It symbolizes ‘liberation from the oppression of tyranny’ as a personification of ‘freedom’ that presupposes the maturity of civic consciousness.
Scientia
It started from scire, meaning ‘to know’, and means ‘knowledge’ as knowing about something or learning it skillfully.
Veritas
The name given to the Roman virtue of truthfulness, known as a word for which Jesus could not give a definition, and meaning ‘truth’, meaning a universally valid law or fact recognized by everyone.
Veneratio
It is derived from Venus and means ‘respect’ and ‘worship’, meaning ‘to serve’.
